The precise outside attacks of Argentina as well as a solid blocking caused Kenya a lot of headaches. Argentina then further expanded its lead and clearly won the set 25-14.

At 5-11 Kenya's head coach Ohanya called a time-out since his team clearly lacked focus. Kenya still had problems with the precise attacks of the opponent. Towards the end of the second set Kenya caught up (20-21) but Argentina eventually took the set.
