El próximo año la serie A1 Italiana tendrá 13 equipos, según declaró el presidente de la Liga di Serie A en TV. También se viene cambios en el Campeonato Italiano Masculino, donde parece que desaparecería la B1 y B2, y se crearía una A3 (con posibilidad de tener un extranjero). Así quedaría en el Masculino: Superliga (a cargo de la Lega Serie A), A2 (a cargo de la Liga Serie A), A3 (a cargo de la Federación Nacional), B (a cargo de la Federación Nacional), C y D (a cargo de la Federación regional), 1°, 2° y 3° división (a cargo de la Federación provincial)...
